Janery Supports Lost Dog and Cat Rescue Foundation Virginia

I first found Lost Dog & Cat Rescue Foundation (LDCRF) when my husband - then new boyfriend - took me on a date to the Lost Dog Cafe in Falls Church, VA.  He thought I’d enjoy a date that supported rescue, and he was right. The owners of the cafe, Pam McAlwee and Ross Underwood, established LDCRF in 2001 to formalize their homeless dog and cat rescue efforts. Along with some of our favorite pizza, they serve up a side of kindness and care for the homeless animals in their midst.

The organization is wildly popular in the Northern Virginia area, and they now run the Lost Dog & Cat Ranch, a 63-acre permanent kennel facility that houses both cats and dogs, along with the “Barn Crew” that includes horses, donkeys, goats, pigs, and even a longhorn steer!

LDCRF is dedicated to running a no-kill shelter, and their efforts have saved over 28,000 homeless pets since 2001.

What is Cozy for a Cause?

All of the Janery four-legged interns have been rescues, which means as a company, we have a soft spot for the humans who help them. We created Cozy for a Cause as a way to give back to organizations that give homeless animals a “paw up”.

How do you help? By shopping with a Cozy Code that supports your favorite rescue organization and we give them 10% of your purchase value. You can learn more about Cozy for a Cause here.

Want to see your favorite rescue organization supported by Cozy for a Cause? We do, too! Pop over to Instagram or Facebook and leave us their contact information or Email Us and we’ll reach out. It’s as easy as a walk in the park with a well-behaved pup. ;)
