Q: How soon will my order ship?
I know you're excited to receive your new Janery, and I pride myself on friendly service and quick delivery of artisan pet goods from my family-run business.
I aim for a 3 day turnaround, but your order may take up to a week to process at busier times.
*If this order is a priority gift for a loved one, please let me know so that I can flag it and do my best to trend closer to the 3-day mark as opposed to the 7-day mark.
I'm deeply grateful for your patience and flexibility. In the meantime, my small team and I are cutting, sewing, and shipping as quickly as we can!
USPS Shipping Delays:
When possible, I am shipping via UPS or FedEx to avoid possible Postal Service interruptions. The postal service is experiencing unprecedented delays. Free mask shipping (First Class Mail) is not insured if a package is lost or stolen. If speed and insurance are concerns, consider upgrading to Priority Mail.
Production
Q: Where are your products made?
A: All Janery products are ethically made in the continental United States. Some are handmade by me in my smoke-free and pet-free studio outside Washington, DC.
As Janery has grown, I hired a local, ethical factory to help create my products. This means more skilled labor jobs for Americans. It means more opportunities for those living in rural North Carolina, Maine, and Detroit.
Q: Why is everything waterproof or washable?
A: When I was 23, my parents gave me a luxury dog bed for Christmas, which was ruined only months later when my puppy had an accident. The liquid leaked through to the fluffy insert, which turned lumpy and uneven in the wash. After only 3 months, that fancy dog bed went in the trash.
Q: Where do your supplies come from?
A: Janery uses American-made supplies as much as possible, and we are working towards a partnership with a US factory. Supporting American manufacturers means keeping more jobs in our country, and more food on families’ tables.
All pillow inserts, dog bed mattresses, and waterproof liners are made in small, family-owned US factories. A few fabrics are woven overseas, such as the Japanese linens.

Shipping & Returns
Q: What’s the shipping time?
A: Please refer to the top of this FAQ page for current shipping status.
Q: What’s the shipping cost?
A: We offer $10 flat rate shipping for all orders over $100 (within the United States). Priority Mail upgrades are available. All orders under $100 have calculated shipping based on weight and shipping location.
Q: Do you ship internationally?
We do ship internationally! If you have trouble at checkout, please email me so I can help!
Please note: International shipments may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and/or fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are usually assessed when your order arrives at the country of destination. Buyer is responsible for the additional costs such as duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees. Import charges are most commonly based on the price and type of item, package weight and dimensions, origin country, and the taxes, duties, and fees of the destination country. Janery can not estimate which fees, if any, will be applied. Returns due to refusal to pay import fees will be assessed a 15% restocking fee.
Q: What's the return policy?
A: I want you to be ridiculously happy with your Janery order. If you're not, let me know so I can make it right! Our full return policy is here.
For health and safety reasons, I am unable to accept returns on face masks. Please contact me if you have any issues or questions about your Janery masks.
Jane's Story
Q: How did you end up with four pets?
A: It really started with a short career in the veterinary field and two amazing dogs I found on the streets of Richmond, VA (Charlie and Merlin). Add in a few homeless kittens, and I quickly had a full house. Each pup inspired one of my dog beds, and the cats played a role in the creation of my Catnip Cuddler.
