The Catnip Mat: Cats sink in. Hairballs wash out.
Tired of using towels and blankets to protect your cat’s favorite chair from shedding fur and hairballs? As seen in Better Homes & Gardens.
Your cat probably has a favorite spot on the furniture, and any attempts to protect that fabulous upholstery from cat hair, claws, and hairballs usually results in a decorating style that can best be described as “disheveled chic.” Those folded blankets and fleece cat beds just don’t do your style justice!
Even worse? Half the time your cat won’t even sit on them.
Reclaim your home and make your cat blissfully happy at the same time. Meet the Catnip Mat - a chic, refillable, addictive spot cats can’t wait to claim as their own (just like everything else in your house).
Let’s be clear: This isn’t your grandma’s cat bed. Thanks to its designer canvas construction with a unique opening, it complements your decor while keeping your cat blissfully snoozing in the same, washable spot.
Hairball? No problem. Toss the whole bed in the wash, refill with some of our fresh catnip leaf and your cat can get back to the important work of napping in less than 60 minutes.
Heading to the (dreaded) vet, or hitting the road for adventure? Tuck the Catnip Mat into the carrier to bring the comforting feel of home on the road.

You don’t have to throw the whole mat in the wash!
I have multiple cats and thus multiple cat mats - old and Janery’s. This mat came on Monday … and two days later one of my senior cats had a hairball attack on this mat. (Cats love to relieve their hairballs on fabric😕) I just ran the area under the tap in my kitchen sink to wash the hairball off, rubbed in a little Dawn, and the Mat, while damp, looked like the hairball never happened. Of course, occasionally I will wash several mats and cat cuddlers at one time - I love not having to wash just one.
And they look great, too! Worth every penny! 😊B
The Strawberry Fields pattern from the Rifle Paper Collection is another awesome pattern. This is the ninth cat mat I have purchased - and all of the others, after simply laundering in cold water and drying on low look as beautiful and vibrant as the day I bought them. Some of my cats prefer the mat to the cat cuddlers (they have both) especially when they are on the floor or the couch. I love that my physically challenged cat with long claws can’t put holes in the mat, and my GI-challenged cat has not stained her favorite mat. And, echoing Charlie17, Jane is the best creator and seller I have bought from - whether mats, cuddlers, or cat toys.C
I put the mat in my cat’s favorite chair (leather with lots of scratches) and she curled up on it immediately and has loved it ever since! Love the fun fabric pattern and excellent quality and workmanship!M
Superb quality, super soft and cuddly! My cat loves this high quality catnip mat!! Highly recommend!!C
First of all, Jane is quite literally the best retailer/creator/owner I've ever dealt with, so just buy anything from her, she's awesome. Second, this particular cat bed is so lovely it makes me sigh. It's plush and soft, and the print goes beautifully with my decor. Plus my cat likes it! So 5 stars across the board, thank you :)
